Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur was established in 1976 of A.P State Legislature and governed by Act 4 of 1991 covering 6 universities of the state. Acharya Nagarjuna University has completed three decades of its existence. It was inaugurated on 11th September, 1976 by the former President of India, Sri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed.

From the corridors of a local polytechnic college in Nallapadu to the imposing buildings in Nagarjuna nagar, the road was very long. Sacrifice, service and commitment marked the growth of Acharya Nagarjuna University. Acharya Nagarjuna University has completed three decades of its existence. In the course of the last 30 years, the university has successfully overcome most of the initial problems and is moving forward with determination, enthusiasm and hope.

The Acharya Nagarjuna University at present offers post-graduate education in 47 courses (39 on the University campus, 4 at University PG Campus at Nuzvid and 5 at University PG Campus at Ongole) besides Post-graduate courses in affiliated colleges.

Acharya Nagajuna University since then has grown into a large university with 39 academic departments, including several self-financed courses, which started operating since 1992. This has been possible by the efforts of its dedicated faculty, an efficient team of supporting staff and high quality student input.

Acharya Nagarjuna University Admission is done through offline mode. Applicants who successfully qualify Acharya Nagarjuna University Eligibility Criteria can obtain the application form from the admission portal of the university by paying the amount of 600 rupees (For SC/ ST/ PHC 500).

Admission to Acharya Nagarjuna University is done on the basis of entrance test which is organized by the university itself namely (ANUPGCET). Applicants having a valid rank in ICET are exempted from entrance test. Final selection is done on the basis of overall performance of the student.

How to fill the ANUPGCET 2019 application form?

  • Open the website and click on the link appearing as Click here to register for ANUPGCET – 2019 Online Application.
  • After clicking the required link, you will get a detailed menu options screen.
  • Before proceeding to fill the ANUPGCET 2019 application form, please download and read the Admission Information Brochure.
  • Click on Online Registration button appearing on the top menu.
  • Select the Test Name(s) you to appear, degree passed/appearing and fill the required details with elective subjects, then you will find the list of eligible and not-eligible courses.
  • Then proceed to fill the Name and other personal details with present address and date of birth. Please fill the details as per SSC or equivalent certificate.
  • While entering the personal details, please give your correct MOBILE number and EMAIL address, because all the correspondence from Admission Authority (DOA) will be made to Mobile and Email only, No postal correspondence will be made under any circumstances.
  • After completion of registration details entry, your Mobile will receive SMS of a Security Code, please type the Security Code in the box provided in the Registration Form and immediately your screen will display a message as “VERIFIED” in green color.
  • Then click “Register & Proceed” button for filling the application with all academic and other details along with scanned Passport Photo and Scanned Signature (signed on white paper only).
  • Fill the entire Academic, Study, Reservation and other Personal Details and submit the application. Select the terms and conditions box, click the preview button. Now it displays the application preview.
  • There it gives two buttons one for “Back-To-Edit” for Editing any mistakes done by you, Save and Print for continuing the application. Now it generates the Acknowledgement Receipt, Take the printout and pay the fee by online using SBI Collect. After payment of the fee in a bank, you will get a mail with all the details submitted by online as a PDF file.
  • You have to take a printout of the same and retain the same until completion of admission.
  • Fee Payment Procedure: Click on Online Payment button. Now click on Online Payment through SBI Collect button. Read the instructions and click the checkbox to proceed payment and click the proceed button.
