APS University is holding a special prestige because the University has been named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a distinguished son of the soil and a freedom fighter. The University was established on the 20th July 1968 and got UGC recognition in February 1972. It has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU).
The APS University offers three courses (Regular Courses, Self Supporting Courses, Correspondence Courses) in many different streams. Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Admission 2019
APS University serves a number of postgraduate programmes in the fields of Arts, Literature, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Application, Hotel Management, and Technology. The university also caters Postgraduate Diploma programme under
Computer Science, Guidance & Counselling and Human Rights.
Duration of all of the Postgraduate program is two years, except Postgraduate Diploma and M.Lib.Sc holding a duration of one year.
To apply for all the Postgraduate program leaving Postgraduate Diploma, M.Lib.Sc., M.Tech, M.P.Ed and MSW programmes Students need to have secured at least 45% marks in the Undergraduate level examination to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Postgraduate admission. Students searching admission in M.Lib.Sc, M.Tech, M.P.Ed, and MSW are required to hold a Graduation degree in relevant stream from a recognized university to be eligible for admission in the concerned Postgraduate programmes. To meet the eligibility criteria in Postgraduate Diploma Students are demanded to have minimum 50% marks in Undergraduate / Postgraduate level from an authorized institute or university.
The admission of Students is done in order of merit. Merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. If they are equal, the decision will be made on the basis of date of birth of the respective Students. The guiding principles issued by the Higher Education. Dept., Govt. of M.P. shall be strictly adhered to in preparation of the Merit list for the Regular program.

Students can apply for more than one program as per eligibility criteria. Application / Registration fee of Rs.700 / - for General / OBC.and Rs.400 / - for SC / ST Students has to be deposited for admission to M.Phil. program along with admission form. Similarly, application/registration fee of Rupees 500 / - for General / OBC and Rupees 300 / - for SC / ST candidate has to be deposited along with the admission form for admission to other programs.

Students are required to submit the printout of admission form along with the photocopies of the mark sheets and other required documents (SC / ST / OBC / FF / PH / Kashmir migrants / Parsi / Staff Ward / NRI / NCC / NSS / Sports etc.) to the CHAIRMAN ADMISSION COMMITTEE, School of Environmental Biology, APSU, Rewa (M.P.)-486 003 by last date as mentioned below through Speed Post / Regd. Post. It can also be submitted by hand in any of the designated Collection Centers viz Department of Physics, Environmental Biology, Psychology, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Business Economics and Business Administration of APS University, Rewa.
The University may not run a self –supporting course in which the admitted students are less than ten. In such cases, the applicant will get a full refund of the fees deposited by him/her.
