Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University is a public university which has been primarily set up for the preservation and propagation of Traditional Sanskrit learning. Sanskrit is an ancient language and has been preached since long. It has been a part of Gurukul Curriculum and ancient scholars have been propagating it with great zeal. To continue with this tradition Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU) was established. Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU) was established on paper by the Government of Rajasthan under Rajasthan Sanskrit University Act 1998 (Act No. 10 of 1998). On 1 February 2001, its actual establishment was performed by Swami Narayan Dasji Maharaj of Triveni Dham, Jaipur. At that time, it was known as Rajasthan Sanskrit University. On 27 June 2005 it was renamed Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University. Its campus at Madau (Bhankrota), Jaipur is spread over an area of about 78.85 hectares. The university provides degrees like Shastri (Graduate), Acharya (Postgraduate), Shiksha Shastri (BEd), Shiksha Acharya (MEd), Vidhyanidhi Shiksha (M.Phil), Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.), and Vidya Vachaspati (DLit). It also offers Five years Integrated Master Degree. Jagatguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). It is also the member of Indian Association of Universities. More than 50 colleges/institutions offering Acharya, Shashtri and Shikshashatri level, are affiliated to it. Apart from the emphasis on Sanskrit literature, JRRSU also focuses on modern subjects like Computer Science, English, Education, Economics, Environment Science, Hindi, History, Home Science, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology, and in the university.

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University Application form will be available on the website.The admission process will be online. All the Students will keep the photocopy of the application form, acknowledgment slip, fee payment Challan and all other documents.The University will provide all application forms for different courses. Admission of eligible Students to the course (2 year Shiksha Sashtri, 4 year Shastri-Shiksha Shastri) shall be based on the performance in PSST / PSSST 2018 entrance test. Admission shall take place in May 2018 to be done through merit determined on the basis of entrance test.

Interested Students can apply by filling the Online Application Form available at jrrsupsst.org or www.jrrsanskrituniversity.ac.in. PSST / PSSST 2018 that will be conducted on April 29, 2018 at the prescribed exam centers by JRRSU. Students must check the eligibility criteria before filling an application form. Also, any form filled with hands will not be entertained by the university.
